Who We Are
The ETHIC (The Essence of True Humanity Is Compassion) promotes Peace, Nonviolence, and Compassion toward All Beings.  We are working to create a world where humans and other animals live free from violence and oppression.

John Morlino

The ETHIC's Founder and Director, John Morlino, is an internationally known writer and speaker on nonviolence and compassion. A humane educator and social worker, Mr. Morlino speaks regularly at colleges, conferences, and community groups. In 1999, he was recognized as an Outstanding Humane Educator by SPEAK, a National Humane Education speaker's bureau.

Debra Erenberg

Debra Erenberg, Deputy Director, has more than fifteen years experience in nonprofit management and grassroots organizing.  She works with advocacy groups training activists, facilitating strategic planning sessions and developing resources to help them plan and implement successful campaigns and grow their organizations.
